300

Today marks my 300th post in 300 days.

I wish I could say that the blog has been a great success, and that I’m amassing a huge audience, and that I’m getting a lot of opportunities from it. But I’m not.

If I’m being honest, daily blogging can get a bit lonely. Sometimes I envy those building businesses or playing in bands, only because they have others to do it with.

I love being fully responsible and accountable for my work, because I know there are no excuses other than myself if I don’t publish. But it does get a bit lonely.

I’m on this path to write every day this year. I’ve got 165 days left to go. I’m excited by how much I’m learning, and I’m proud of myself for challenging my mind every day.

I write this more as a reminder for myself than for you, but if you find value, that makes me happy too. The creative practice we’re working on needs to compelling and beneficial within itself, for yourself. Because the rewards may take a while to come around.

Good luck out there.
