Delight

Do you know what still goes a long way with clients? Delight. If you can find a way to delight your clients, they will refer you until your inbox is full. Delight them with clear communication. Delight them with exceptional work. Delight them with your fun personality. 

Dollars and cents can be counted and compared. And when budgets get tight, you might get cut. But a delightful experience is priceless. The quickest way to get yourself off the spreadsheet and on a retainer is delight. 

Find a way to delight your clients. 

P.S. I wrote this blog with voice-to-text while I was driving, and when I sat down to post this, it read, “If you can find a way to delete your clients, they will refer you until your inbox is full.” Whatever you do, don’t delete your clients! Then you’ll have none left at all ;)
