Six Months From Now

“Six months from now, what you will you wish you had spent time on today?”
–James Clear

Here’s a recent question from James Clear’s newsletter.

This is a tough question to answer if we don’t have our long term goals broken down into actionable steps. Long term goals remain far away without small steps toward them each day.

Do you know what it is that you want to accomplish in six months? Do you know the steps to get there?

If you don’t know what you want to accomplish, spend some time today thinking about it. If you do know where you want to be, but don’t know how to get there, spend some time working backwards from your goal. What benchmarks should you hit along the way? What actions should you take daily to hit those benchmarks? What mindset should you have to commit to those actions?

Spend some time today to make six months from now better.
