Your Brain Is A Potted Plant

Your brain is a potted plant.

You can only learn so much in one day. At some point, you need to allow time for information to seep in and soak up.

This is why daily practices (or weekly, if you’re a succulent type) are so important. Spending 15 minutes learning something each day for a year is much better than spending 2 dedicated workweeks at once. Even though they equal the same amount of time.

Sometimes us creative folk get big ideas to make masterpieces by EOD. But then we realize it’ll take a little longer than that, so we stop.

Floods destroy potted plants, and the houses they live in. But a steady dose of a few ounces each day creates something beautiful.
