How To Get 10k YouTube Subscribers in 10 Months

My friend Jesse hit 10,000 subscribers on YouTube in 10 months. He launched his YouTube channel 10 months ago.

How did he do it?

It’s the perfect example of what consistency can accomplish within an underserved niche. For people who love disc golf and care about sustainability, his mission to create fully recycled disc golf products is exactly what they’ve been looking for.

Every single day, people create YouTube channels to become the next Casey Neistat, Gary Vaynerchuk, or Peter McKinnon. But my friend Jesse is doing something no one has ever done before.

If you take what you love and what you care about, then create content around that, you’ll find others who get excited about following you. Meanwhile, no one is excited about the next Casey Neistat. We already have one of those. But Trash Panda Disc Golf? The world has never seen one of those.

What “uncool” thing do you love? What missions do you care about? What culture do you come from? What experiences are true for you? Combine all of those things. Create content around that.

I bet you’ll get to 10,000 subscribers way quicker than if you try to be the next famous creator.

Just be you. It’s a better life anyway.
