Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance

Proper prior planning prevents poor performance.

My uncle and I are a lot alike. We’re have similar personalities, and are driven by similar motivations. One of our shared interests is productivity. The other day, he asked me what my daily productivity rhythms are. I stumbled through a few tricks I rely on each day. I realized I haven’t turned my own habits into a full system yet.

Then he shared his system with me.

There’s advice I can give you on productivity. And that comes from a 27 year-old guy who has largely made decisions based on his own interests (that’s slowly changing, as I recently got married).

Then there’s advice my uncle can give you. And that comes from a 52 year-old guy who owns his own dental practice, has eight (8!) kids, volunteers every weekend, and has maintained a blog and podcast for over two decades.

I’ve been giving his productivity system a shot, called the 6P’s Productivity Scheduler. It’s pretty good.

I’ll link it here for anyone who wants to try it out.

Good luck out there!
